Greetings to all FC Bayern Munich fans!

If you’re like me, then you love football and have a favorite football club you follow. Well, as you may have guessed it, my favorite football club is FC Bayern Munich!

Going to elementary school in Germany was a memorable experience, because I was surrounded by football crazies. Many of my class mates wore Borussia Dortmund jerseys, which I didn’t know why at first. But then I did, because Dortmund had just won the UEFA Champions League, the year 1997. But it wasn’t Dortmund I began to follow.

I soon learned that Borussia Dortmund’s archrival was FC Bayern Munich. When I started watching FC Bayern on TV, I instantly fell in love with this team. Oliver Kahn, Samuel Kuffour, Bixente Lizarazu, Mehmet Scholl and manager Ottmar Hitzfeld made an impression on me. I loved the jerseys, too. But most importantly, I loved FC Bayern Munich, because they had a knack of winning matches and bringing home titles, which fans appreciate the most. Led by legendary former players-turned-managers Franz Beckenbauer, Uli Hoeness, and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, FC Bayern Munich seemed like the perfect club in every aspect, and it was and has been.
